December 10, 2024 Club Meeting

You don’t want to miss our December 10 club meeting at 7pm in the TF Ballroom.  Our members always tell us that this is one of their favorite meetings of the year!  

After a brief vote on the incoming 2025 board, we will be presenting checks to two non-profits as a result of funds from our 2024 charity golf tournament.  Both organizations were vetted and selected by our Charitable Contributions Committee.  We have a speaker coming from each organization who will inspire you by their commitment and impact that they are making to our community.

We will hear from Dr. Crystal Krueger, the founder of Dawn Institute in Goodyear. Their mission is to support the prevention and healing of trauma through innovative mental health services that treat the whole person, equip parents and nurture resilient families.

We will also hear from Stevel Vogel, President of the ThriveAZ organization. Working closely with Az. Dept. of Children’s Services, Thrive is instrumental in providing resources for families to remain a unit rather than having children removed from their home and placed in foster care. In addition to foster care prevention, reunification, aged-out foster care youth are a large part of their mission. Their goal is to provide and connect deserving families and youth with critical resources and support that would otherwise be out of reach so that at-risk families and young adults transitioning out of foster care can be empowered to flourish.

BONUS!  At the meeting we will be selling raffle tickets 6 for $5 for the chance to win a beautiful new wrap ($100 value and pictured above) purchased in Ireland on the club trip this summer.  You can choose from one of the two colors.  This would make a special Christmas gift for someone or for yourself!  Note:  There will be a limit of 6 tickets per person.
